CHICAGO (June, 2010) - The Illinois Chapter of American
Society of Interior Designers (ASID-IL) and Waterworks present Spa ASID: Escape
the Chaos and Sooth Your Senses at the annual NeoCon luncheon on Monday, June
14, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ASID designers across the country are
welcome to attend the luncheon. This event will be located in the Waterworks
showroom in suite 136 in the Merchandise Mart.
“We’re partnering with Waterworks
because they represent timeless, classic design and the highest level of
quality,” said Joan Kaufman, ASID, LEED-AP, 2009-2010 ASID-IL chapter
president. “We couldn’t be happier to celebrate a major international design
event with such a wonderful group.”
The vision for this luncheon is
to create an oasis-type of atmosphere where everyone can escape the chaos of
the conference and slip into a spa-like experience. Barbara Sallick, the owner
and matriarch of Waterworks, will be attending, as well as Sari Graven,
president of ASID, and Kaufman. Sallick, Graven and Kaufman will make brief
remarks during the luncheon. No R.S.V.P.s will be required; the event is on a
first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 175 designers.
